Description:
The Blue & White Optical Tea Jar Set includes two lidded canisters with luminous brass rings running the circumference of the bottom, the top, and along each edge where the lid meets the jar. The electric blue pattern that dynamically crisscrosses the surface of each jar is painted by hand. Proving that these pieces are artisanal in their creation, the brushstrokes are evident in the blue pattern. Though these blue decorative jars were inspired by centuries-old designs made for the storage of tea leaves, they have a surprisingly contemporary feel.
